cooking4you ,I made this a week ago (with dried beans). I left out the anise and probably added a few other spices (chili powder). It was so good! This is a new favorite, and will be making many more appearances at our table this winter.13y
amashash ,i used a 1 pound bag of dried beans. soaked overnight and omited the cream and anise. Loved the flavor. have actually made it twice already13y
barowlett4277 ,This was very easy to make. I used 1/2 of a bag of dry white beans, so my chili was a little thicker and I will use the whole bag of beans next time. I also omitted the cream, still tasted great. Kids loved it too.14y
bigbluueyes ,Not bad for how easy it is. I think a simmer for about 30 minutes really developed the flavors more and I used ground turkey, added a bay leaf and a bit of chili powder to round it out. It was good, mild and quick.14y
springers3 ,I liked the flavor which is different from our normal diet. I used beans which had bee soaked overnight and they worked fine.14y
princessfiona ,I like to top mine with tortilla chips and a spoonful of "Quicky Salsa" #158336. [I posted this recipe.]17y
