1/2 c Margarine; softened (may use )
2 lg Eggs; (may use 1/2 cup egg beaters)
2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
3/4 c Miniature chocolate chips
1 ts Baking soda
2 md Bananas; (very ripe), mashed
1/2 c Sour cream; (may use non-fat)
3/4 c Sugar

Original recipe makes 16



OVEN: 350 Grease and flour bottom only of 9 x 5 or ( 2 )- 8 x 4-inch loaf pans. In large bowl, combine sugar and margarine.. Beat til light and fluffy. Add bananas, sour cream and eggs; blend well. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; blend well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour into pan(s). Bake 55 to 65 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely. Wrap tightly and store in refrigerator. NOTES : Best served next day- if it lasts that long! Freezes well. It was pretty yummy! But I cooked it for the least amount of time and that was too long. .

yummy! im a terrible baker and somehow i was able to make this awesome bread and have it taste great too! highly recommend this recipe

Easy to make and delicious. I wish there was more specific description, however, on how mixture should feel and look at different points in the blending process.

It was good but I needed to keep mine in the oven longer because the middle didn't fully cook through.

this was good but for some reason it turned out alittle dry.... i would make it again though maybe next time use peanutbutter chips!!! thanks for posting

i followed the recipe to a t except for the chips i only had the regular ones,but it turned out dry and i dont know why??? mabe the chips?
