"This was delicious! However I think it needed another ingredient, maybe some beans. Also, I forgot to buy topping while I was at the store and I really wish I would've had sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce, and such for the top. It was a little dry, but I think a topping would have really made it perfect! Also the taco seasoning was a little strong. I think next time I'll just season the beef myself. Overall, a very good and easy to make dish!"

Made this is a pie pan instead, and used a little less bisquick. I also added some chopped jalapeƱos and it came out great. Will definitely make again

I was not impressed with this recipe. It was too much dough and not enough flavor. It was quite bland, and does not reheat well.

This recipe either needs a lot more meat or a lot less bisquick! Very dry!

I changed the quantities & baked in 9' round deep pie dish. It tastes great. Here's what I cooked: 1.25lbs gr beef, 1/2c onion, 1 pack McCormick mild taco seasoning,1/2 can corn, 8oz tomato sauce, 1/2 can black beans. I also used z 1/2 of the bisquick mix but could have used the whole quantity kist as well.

Amazing!! I made this with whatever I had lying around the house... I had no sauce so I used a can of tomato soup. I also used black beans instead of corn. I halved the topping... I didn't have milk so I used 1/2 cup water and a little sour cream. I made it in a 3 qt correlle dish. Thank you for the great recipe!

I added refried beans and salsa to the meat mixture as well as adding powdered ranch dressing to the bisquick for some more flavor and it was amazing

The topping doesn't go well with the dish; however it was easy and is one of those basic dishes that can be spiced up.

always a favorite with my kids, I omit the onion and they can add what they want when done

My family loves this. I make it using a couple of pounds of cubed up boneless/skinless chicken breasts. We like it better this way!! Enjoy

I am an extremely picky eater and I haven't wanted to make taco bake previously because of beans in it and it being far too saucy or spicy. I tried this one and I really enjoyed it! I was terrified to put tomato sauce in a taco flavored meat... but I did it and it adds more texture than anything. I agree that there is hardly enough meat to cover the pan, which is why I added 2 lbs of ground beef, and I also added a whole bag of shredded cheddar. I don't personally think the crust is too thick if you use 2 lbs of ground beef, it's very light flavored and more fluff than substance. I served this with chopped iceburg lettuce and fresh diced tomatoes, cilantro, and onion. I also used frozen corn instead of canned. But even this picky eater liked the recipe so well done :)
