Suggest a better descriptionToss the apple slices with 1/4 cup sugar and the cinnimon ; set aside. Mix together the flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla, orange juice. baking soda and baking powder. Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed. (The batter will be very thick). Spread a 3rd. of the batter in a greased 10 inch tube or bundt pan, top with half the apple mixture. Repeat layers ending with batter. Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove pan to wire rack; cool for about 10 minutes. remove cake from pan.
