Top-ranked recipe named "Ann's Cheesy Crock Pot Potatoes"
Just throw it in the crockpot and enjoy. Great for potlucks too!
"I made this for our small group from our church. After I added the package of hash brown I was afraid that it wouldn't be enough. So I cut up about four additional potatoes (very finely) and added it. I also cooked it in the crock pot on low for more like 3.5 hours and stirred it once. The cheese was more mixed in, but it still tasted amazing!"
Put all ingredients in crockpot and top with cheese. cook on low setting for about 3 hours.

vdianellos 7 months agoMy family really liked this dish but we made some changes (and here are some clarifications): We had to use gluten free COM soup, it was condensed and we followed the directions on the package, adding equal parts milk. Maybe this is why ours wasn't dry. We stirred it up after about 2 hours and added a little more cheese (this time mozzarella) to the top. We added a little garlic powder and a small amount of ground red pepper. If you like spicy I think this would be great if you added jalepenos to it. Towards the end we cut up some ham and stirred it into the dish. We used Franks hot sauce as a condiment and it was great!
April07showers 1 year agoVery good dish. Will make again
lorieichstedt 1 year agoIt was a little sticky for my liking, but tasted very good! I might add some milk or something next time. (Might be because I used the Velveeta type cheese instead of regular shredded cheese.) Will definitely try this again!
kyjaxmom 2 years agoI also added 8oz of sour cream. Yummy!

kyjaxmom 2 years agoVery cheesy, I grated the onion and used cream of onion soup instead of the cream of mushroom. Turned out great!
rockin68 2 years agoSimple to make. Takes longer than 3 hours though. Next time I will remember to add salt to taste.

JCSM-Mom 2 years agoThese were pretty tasty. It does take longer than the 3 hours. My thinly sliced onions (used mandolin), were not fully cooked however, next time I will caramelize prior to adding to the crock.
