A quick and easy winter dessert.
Peel and core apples. Slice apple and rhubarb and place in one large dish, or individual ramekins.
Add a dash of lime or lemon juice.
Mix dry ingredients. Work through vanilla essence and margarine.
Cover fruit with crumble mixture.
Bake in moderate oven at 180C for 20 minutes.
Serve with icecream, double cream or custard.
