Baked french fries with Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
In a large bowl, add the olive oil and the potatoes and mix until the potatoes are covered. Add the basil, Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper and mix until all the potatoes are coated.
Arrange potato strips in a single layer on a prepared baking sheet.
Bake 30 minutes in the preheated oven, turning over once to ensure even cooking.
Optional:
Once the fries are done, place them into a casserole dish and top with 8 oz of cheddar cheese. Bake for 5 additional minutes, serve with Ranch or Blue cheese dressing.
Note:You can also add bacon bits to the mix.
