Quick and simple french toast that tastes like a special treat!
-Slice your bread
-Heat pan
-Whisk together eggs, milk/cream, orange juice, cinnamon, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated
-Pour into shallow dish
-Place each bread slice in egg mixture and flip two times so it is completely soaked on both sides
-Put butter in pan and spread it around so the surface is covered--make sure pan is not too hot so butter doesn't burn!
-Place first slice of bread in heated and buttered pan
-Cook on Medium-Medium Low heat until first side is browned to your liking, then flip
-Cook second side the same way
-Put on plate, garnish with fruit and/or maple syrup, and serve!
Sometimes it is better if the bread is slightly stale or old because it prevents soggy french toast :)
