July-August-September....these are the months when fresh tomatoes are perfect for Beverly's tomato salad! Beverly's Italian heritage and good friendship passed this recipe on to me. Honor her memory and give it a try!
Chop all ingredients and place into bowl. Stir and refrigerate 30-45 minutes, allow the flavors to meld and the tomatoes to release their juices. Toast slices of baguette or French bread. Serve toasted bread with the "tomato salad" in a bowl or individual bowls as an appetizer. Spoon tomato salad onto bread and enjoy the crunch and burst of Italian flavors!
Although seasonal, this will be a guaranteed favorite every year!
