In a skillet over medium heat saute broccoli and onion in butter for 5 minutes and set aside. In a large bpwl beat eggs and add whipping cream and 1 34 cups cheese. Stir into the broccoli mixture. Pour into greased baking dish ans sit into a larger baking dish with 1 inch of water in the bottom. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and serve after 5 minutes.
erinbrooks 3y agoExactly how I make it from scratch!! Great minds think alike!!
Ninacarroll 4y agoI found that the consistency worked better for my crew with only four eggs. It was nice and smooth and not so cake-like. I also ended up using sweetened whipping cream once and it went over quite well, though personally I am not into sweet meals all that much
Mrsswill 5y agoI'm not a big fan of eggs so I was sceptical about trying this recipe but I cut the ingredients in half and was pleasantly surprised in the outcome. It was more like a quiche, but very good...even reheated the next day. My husband and I loved it.
