Try this Butter Loaf Pound Cake recipe, or contribute your own.
Cream butter, gradually add sugar, creaming till light. Add vanilla, then eggs, one at a time beating each time. Sift dry ingredients; stir in. Grease bottom only of 9x5x3 in loaf pan; turn in bater. Bake at 350F for 50 minutes till done. Cool in pan.

Valentine4u 4y agoI made it once without changing a thing, and it was great. I do add a little heavy cream over 2 thin slices of cake. Making it again today! Thank you!
Mlmuied12 5y agoThis was truly a great recipe. I made a few adjustments by simply adding cream cheese and a little sour cream which made the recipe equally delicious. I'm going to continue using this recipe and adding more of my favorite ingredients
