Suggest a better descriptionDisolve yeast in water. Add margarine, sugar, egg, salt and 1 1/2 cup flour. Beat 2 minutes with mixer. Add rest of flour. Stir well. Cover & let rise until double.
Punch down. Roll in a rectangular strip. Spread with melted butter. I melt the butter in the pan that I'm going to bake the rolls in and then get the melted butter out of that to spread on the rolled out dough. Add brown sugar & cinnamon. Roll like jelly roll & cut with string to make cinnamon rolls. Place in pan with melted butter, brown sugar & chopped nuts (I use enough brown sugar to cover butter). Let rise again till double. Bake at 365 for 20 minutes if baked in glass pan. When removed from oven, put plate or cookie sheet on top and turn over, leaving nut-brown sugar mixture on top. Scoop any left in pan onto top of rolls.
