Preheat the grill to 400F. In a large bowl, combine the fish, salt and pepper and about 2 tbsp of the olive oil. Rub the salmon and set aside. In a medium bowl, place the chili powder, mustard, and honey and whip with a whisk. Add the oil slowly, reserving 2 tbsp. In a large bowl, place the asparagus, remaining oil, salt and pepper and set aside. Remove the salmon from the bowl and place on a hot grill. Baste the salmon with mustard sauce every minute or two and cover if you can. Cook for about 4 minutes on each side or until the salmon is slightly firm in the center. Place asparagus on the grill and turn them once or twice. Pull the asparagus off when they are slightly soft. Serve the salmon over the asparagus and drizzle with additional sauce.
