Thaw potatoes in colander. Combine sour cream, soup and margarine. Add salt, onion, cheese. Blend in potatoes. mix cornflakes and remaining margarine. Top potatoes with cornflakes in a 9 x 13 pan, sprayed with cooking spray. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 to 50 minutes. Do not make more than 2 hours ahead.
