i have been cooking since i was 9 years old and i have been making chili a long time the problem is my mom, stepdad, and grandmother can't eat spicy food so this i feel is the best all around and a lil spicy you add more spice to it but it a spicy mild and its hearty.
i don't measure really so most of it is by taste.
get a big pot put ground beef in it. put onion in diced my secret that im going to share it to quarter it cut half of the onion and shred the rest like you would cheese gives the onion juice and the onion. pure cola into pot as much as you want. put salt and pepper, worcestershire, garlic, paprika, let ground beef get done. Add kidney beans,( open can of tomato and squash tomatos in can the add to another bowl then add to potl) add tomatos, crushed tomatos or puree.let simmer for an hour add seasoning mix or chilli powder.let simmer for another hour. tuern off and let rest for an half hour or 45 mins. enjoy put any toppings yo want on it from cheese to sour creme they are all good on any type of chilli! hope you all like it don't knock it untill you try it.
