Suggest a better descriptionSauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add ground chuck. Brown and drain off grease. Add sugar, salt, pepper, tomato paste, tomato sauce and water. Simmer.
Mix: cottage cheese and eggs.
Cook: lasagna noodles
Layer in two baking dishes:
Meat sauce, noodles, cottage cheese, meat sauce, Parmesan cheese, noodles, cottage cheese, meat sauce, Parmesan cheese, noodles, meat sauce, Parmesan cheese and top with mozzarella cheese
Use almost 1 large Parmesan cheese
Bake 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until bubbly.
Let stand 5 minutes before cutting. May be frozen before baking. Try: "la" ricotta instead of cottage cheese, provolone instead of mozzarella, mix ricotta, Parmesan, fresh garlic together, use several layers of lasagna noodles in each noodle layer
