A homemade pizza with fish or meat. I personally prefer to make two pizza's (one with meat and one with fish) since one is not enough for us here (and I find it difficult to choose which I like more), therefore the ingredients listed at the pizza base are for two or three pizza's.
Pizza Base
1. Prepare the dough according to the package (do not add butter, instead use olive oil)
2. Use a rolling pin and some all purpose flour to roll out the dough until you get a nice flat bottom.
3. Use some olive oil to cover the pizza baking tin.
4. Put the dough in the baking tin and then use a brush to cover it with a thin layer of olive oil.
5. For a nice crunchy crust, let the dough rise for an hour or so
(cover it with some cling film)
6. Mix the tomato paste with the crushed garlic (2 per pizza) and the cover the pizza base with it. (1 can for each pizza will suffice)
Meat Pizza:
1. Add the mozzarella slices
2. Add the pineapple chunks (make sure you get rid of most the fluid)
3. Chop the ham slices into 1cm² blocks and add them to the Pizza
4. Add the salami slices
5. Add the spices
6. Cover it with the grated cheese
7. Sprinkle some olive oil on top of the pizza
8. Put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180°C/350°F
Fish Pizza:
1. Add the mozzarella slices
2. Add the chopped onion
3. Add the tuna and anchovies(make sure to get rid of most of the oil/water first)
4. Add the capers
5. Add the spices
6. Cover it with the grated cheese
7. Sprinkle some olive oil on top of the pizza
8. Put it in the oven for about 20 minutes at 180°C/350°F
Serve with some salad.
If you reheat any leftovers, make sure to sprinkle some olive oil over the pizza to keep it moist.
Do not add too much grated cheese, it will make it a heavy dish and ruin most of the taste.
