This is a thick stew much like Susie Jones made. The recipe base is from Georgia on My Menu but I made several changes to it.
Put broth in pot and heat. Add potatoes to cook for 15 to 20 minutes. Add chicken, ham (or shredded pork), vegetables and remaining ingredients. Cook slowly for 30 minutes , stirring often. If the stew is too thin, add ritz cracker crumbs.
