This is great
Combine peas and water. Heat to boiling being careful not to boil over; reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until peas are very soft. Mash peas. Fry bacon and onion together until lightly browned. Add flour to bacon and onion and gradually stir in milk. Cook until mixture thickens slightly. Stir into pureed peas. Add salt. Reheat and serve. Serves 6
