Flavorful, made from scratch.
Clean and cut broccoli into smaller florets. Steam for 7-8 minutes. Cook chicken in skillet (or use canned chicken), season to taste, and chop. In seperate pan, melt butter, and flour. Add milk, stir until thickened. Add chicken. Spray square pan. Line sides of pan with broccoli. Pour chicken and sauce into the middle. Bake at 375 for about 30 minutes, until bubbly. Meanwhile, chop bread into little squares. Melt butter and stir into bread cubes, coat evenly. Top casserole with bread cubes, then cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bread is toasted.
