Mix dry ingredients together in large bowl. Cut butter in with a pastry blender. Then add other ingredients to create special scones.
Into a 2 cup measuring cup, break 2 eggs and add enough half & half to measure 1 1/2 cups. To that add the flavoring extract. Beat with a fork and add to the dry ingredients.
Mix lightly with your hands. Do not over mix. Form into 12 balls on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten the balls to about 1 inch thick. If desired, sprinkle with raw sugar crystals.
Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes until brown.
These freeze well. thaw and reheat 3 minutes at 350 degrees.
