Make sure your chicken is cleaned out, rinsed and pat dry. Peel onion and place whole inside the cavity of the chicken. season to taste. Place chicken in large slow cooker and set on low for 8 hours. *PLEASE DO NOT ADD LIQUID!!! You will be amazed how juicy and tender this turns out!

Monkeypire 1 year agoReally good flavor if you get 'rotisserie' seasoning; although next time I am going to use large boneless chicken breasts. Fell off the bone. Tender and juicy.

MauraSpeckt 2 years agoMy family appreciated this recipe almost as much as I did for its simplicity. Only 2 ingredients! Though I did cheat and add some poultry seasoning. This was delightful and will be made at least monthly!
