Suggest a better descriptionMix 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon and walnuts in small bowl and set aside. Combine sour cream and baking soda in small bowl and set aside.
Cream butter and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in large bowl. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour and baking powder together and add alternately with sour cream mixture to the butter/egg mixture.
Spread half batter in greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. Sprinkle half sugar, cinnamon and nut mixture over the top and gently incorporate some of it into the batter, using a fork. Add remaining batter, then remaining sugar, cinnamon and nut mixture, blending as before.
Bake in preheated 350 oven until golden brown, about 45-60 minutes.
