1. Stir 2 teaspoons salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and cayenne pepper together in a small bowl; rub evenly into the chicken breasts.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; cook the chicken in the heated oil until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 5 to 7 minutes per side.
3. Remove cooked chicken. Add 1 tablespoon olive oil, red onions and bacon bits to the skillet. Saute until onions are cooked to your liking.
4. Add the chicken back to the pan with the onions. Leave on low until ready to serve.
5. Stir the lime juice and avocado together in a bowl; season with salt and pepper.
6. Spoon the onions and avocados over the chicken breasts to serve.
