These fries are sweet and delicious, but pack a spicy kick.
Preheat oven to 425F.
Throw all the ingredients in a bag and shake until fries are evenly coated with spices.
Lay the fries onto a baking sheet (or two, if necessary) so that no fries are overlapping. Bake for 30 mins. Flip all of the fries and bake for another 30 mins.
Serve on their own or with ketchup or southwest sauce.
timgraham1 1y agoLot of kick in these fries with the spices. We cooked ours in a convection oven and they were done after 40 minutes at 400 F. Dusted them with powdered sugar to balance out the spice, and we received a lot of compliments. We even had some people dipping these in ranch dressing, so they seem to go well with just about whatever you want to put on them.
JordanA18 3y agoHas a very nice spice to it. Recommend cutting the potato into thick pieces. They really shrink in the oven!
Lturuc 4y ago1 hour!? After 30 minutes mine were burnt to a crisp and ruined! Try 30 flipping each 15.
Strombley 5y agoDelicious, will make them again
catheas 5y agoLove these! I've made them several times & they're always good. Mine usually cook in about 30 minutes total though.
markjacobi 5y agosubstituted seasoning salt for "cajun spices" and it came out pretty well. little on the spicy side. When I made it for my mom's side of the family, I left out the cayenne, and they also came out great.
