The teriyaki-lime marinade provides moisture, flavor, and a delicious basting sauce for the fish.
Combine teriyaki, lime juice, cilantro and ginger in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish.
Rinse fish; pat dry. Lay fish in marinade; turn to coat all sides. Cover dish with plastic wrap; chill 15 minutes, or up to 4 hours, turning fish occasionally.
Remove fish from marinade (reserve marinade); place on a grill over a solid bed of hot coals, or over high heat on a gas grill; close lid on gas grill. Cook 5 minutes, basting occasionally with marinade; turn fish and continue cooking and basting until fish is opaque when cut in thickest section, 10 to 13 minutes more. Squeeze lime over fish, as desired.
Makes 4 servings.
This is very good served with a blend of long-grain white and wild rice.
