3 lg Onions; sliced
1 lb Ground beef
2 ts Salt
1 lg Green pepper; minced
3 tb Fat
1 ts Chili powder
1/8 ts Black Pepper; ground
2 c Cooked tomatoes
1/2 c Uncooked rice

Original recipe makes 6 servings



Recipe By : Betty Crocker Heat oven to 350F. Saute onion and green pepper in fat until onions are yellow. Add meat and fry until mixture falls apart. Stir in rest of ingredients. Pour into greased 2-qt. baking dish. cover and bake 1 hour, removing cover last 15 minutes. Serve hot. Posted to MM-Recipes Digest by PBH on Oct 29, 1998,
