This version I've never seen online, but it's famous in my family.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Bring to a boil margarine, cocoa and water. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Add the hot mixture to the dry ingredients and combine. Then add eggs and sour cream. Pour into 9x13 in. jelly roll pan and bake for 20 minutes.
While the cake is baking, make the frosting. Bring to a boil margarine, milk and cocoa. Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl and add the hot mixture plus the vanilla. Pour the frosting onto the warm cake as soon as it comes out of the oven.
