Suggest a better descriptionSaute bell pepper, onion and garlic in oil.
Add ground meat and cook through.
Add all dry seasonings and cook about 1 minute, until fragrant.
Add can of tomatoes w/ juice and chicken broth, bring to simmer.
Optional, if adding beans, add now and bring back to simmer.
Turn to low, add bay leaf and cook at least 30 min (or cook in crock pot)
Premix dry seasonings in bulk. Add 4 Tbps seasoning mix per 1 lb. meat.
Double recipe and freeze in meal-sized portions
Use California Chili powder or Fiesta Brand Chili Powder
