Separate eggs. Beat egg whites, adding a little salt and a tablespoon sugar in one bowl.
In another bowl, beat butter, adding egg yolks and sugar while beating until creamy white
Mix baking powder with flour. Add flour mixture to cocoa and rest of spices. Then add to butter mixture.
Add milk, walnuts and chocolate chips.
Finally fold in beaten egg white mixture.
Bake in greased baking pan for about an hour at 350 degrees.
