Suggest a better descriptionSift together flour, baking soda, sugar and salt. Beat together egg yolks, vinegar, milk then mix with dry ingredients. Stir in melted shortening and pecans, stirring until smooth. Use mixer to beat egg whites till stiff but not dry; fold into batter. Pour on heated waffle iron; bake until steaming stops.
