A different twist on plain rice
1. Rinse the rice with cold water to remove the starch
2. In a large saucepan, bring the above volume of water to the boil. Add about 5g(1 tsp) of salt to the water When the water has started boiling, stir the rice once to stop it sticking to the bottom of the pot. Lower heat to a simmer, put a lid on the pot and leave for 15-20minutes until all the water has evaporated. Remove from the heat, keep the lid on and allow to steam for at least 5 but up to 15 minutes.
3. Just before serving add the zest and juice of one lemon to the rice if you wish, stir and serve.
