Makes a delicious appetizer or snack!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix the unsifted flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. Gradually add the water and margarine. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Beat in the 1/2 cup of flour for 2 minutes on high speed. Stir in more flour until soft dough (2 C). On floured board kneed for 5 minutes. Set it in a greased bowl; turn to grease top. Cover, rise for 40 min. Divide dough 12 ways, roll. Place on greased sheet, and cover for 5 min. Mix egg yolk and 1 Tbsp water, brush and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 15 minutes and cool on racks.
