Yummy Breakfast food
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flours, baking powder, flaxseed, and sea salt. Add maple syrup, vanilla, almond milk, and 1 tablespoon oil. Whisk batter until smooth. Do not over mix.
2. Preheat griddle or large nonstick pan to medium heat. Brush griddle or pan with remaining 1 tablespoon oil.
3. Spread 2 tablespoons jelly onto 3 slices of bread and 2 tablespoons almond butter onto the remaining 3 slices of bread. Top the jellied side of the bread with the almond butter side, making 3 sandwhiches. Coat each sandwich in batter and then place on griddle or pan.
4. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, or until bottom is slightly golden and edges look dry. Flip and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden. If bread is thick, stand sandwich vertically in pan and cook 1 minute. This helps seal French toast.
