Suggest a better descriptionPut apricot, pineapple, lemon juice, pectin, and butter into large kettle. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Add sugar and bring to a rolling boil. Boil and stir for 90 seconds. Remove from heat. Skim off and discard any foam. Ladel into jelly jars, leaving about 1/4 inch head space. Cover with hot canning lid and put ring on finger tight.
Can in hot water bath. Fill extra large kettle half way with water and get water hot, but not boiling. Put jars into water so they are not touching. Add water so that lids are covered. Put lid loosely on kettle and bring to rolling boil. Boil for 12 minutes. Turn off burner and let kettle sit until water stops boiling. Remove jars with jar lifter and towel and place on boards to cool. After completely cooling, jars should have rings removed, be washed and ring put back on. Store in a cool, dark cupboard
Makes 9 jelly jars.
