Great Recipe for the beautiful presentation of an Artichoke Appetizer
Prepare your artichoke....cut the bottom stem off, and trim of the tops of the leaves. Take a knife and cut a little more than a 1/4" off the top of the artichoke.
Boil Artichoke with 1 lemon for about 30 mins. Squeeze juice and toss peel in the water. Turn on oven 350.
Remove the Artichoke and turn upside down in a small baking dish with paper towel lined on the bottom to help soak up the excess water.
When cooled then clean out the center, this is done most easy by pulling out the center leaves by hand and then using a pair of metal tongs to get down to the heart. Clean out all the fibers/hairs at the bottom.
Add all ingredients together in a small sauce pan, heat until cheese melts.
Pour the Aioli Sauce into the center and add a few more croutons and top with a little more cheese.
Bake at 350 for 30 mins
