1. Cook using a slow cooker
2. Saute bacon until crisp stirring often to c ook evenly about 10-12 minutes. Remove the bacon to paper towels .
3. Add the onions and peppe3rs and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Add the meat and cook until browned.. Drain off any excess grease.
4. Add all the remaining ingredients and 3/4 of the bacon and stir to combine.
5. Turn the slow cooker to high and cook for 3 hours, or set at low and cook for 6-7 hours.
6. Serve with sour cream, cheese, onions and a little bacon
