In crockpot combine beans, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard and syrup. In a skillet, saute bacon and onions until bacon is cooked (do not cook until crisp). Pour bacon, onion and remaining drippings, if any, from skillet into crock pot. Stir. Cook on low heat for several hours.
