chicken and vegetables in cream sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place the vegetables in a roasting pan which has a tight fitting lid. Place the chicken pieces on top of the vegetables.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper; pour all the cream/milk over the chicken. Dot the chicken pieces with pats of butter.
Cover tightly and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until you can pierce the thickest part of the chicken with a sharp fork.
Uncover and place under the broiler for 5 minutes or until the chicken is a golden brown.
