Place flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl and mix. Add the cold butter, cut into cubes, to the dry mixture. Cut the butter in till the flour resembles coarse crumbs.
In a medium bowl lightly beat the eggs, add the cream, and combine. Add the wet ingredients to the dry, and mix till just combined. Turn the dough onto a clean dry surface and pat to 1" thick.
Cut the scones into a 12 triangles or squares, and bake for 12-15 minutes.
