Beef with Brocolli classic stir fry recipe
Slice beef cross grain, 1/8 inch thick. Combine marinade ingredients in bowl. Stir in beef. Let sit for 30 minutes.
Slice broccoli stem thinly; separate flowers into bite size pieces.
Combine sauce ingredients in measuring cup. When you’re ready to cook the beef, pour the marinade into the sauce cup. Combined you should have ½ to ¾ cup liquid.
Heat wok on high; add 1 Tbsp oil. Add the beef. Spread across the pan; let sit for 30 seconds. Flip to heat other side. Remove from wok. Entire cooking time for meat is 60-90 seconds.
Add broccoli to wok. Stir to heat. Add ¼ cup water and cover the broccoli with a lid. Cook for 2 minutes. Drain the water.
Add the meat back to the wok with the broccoli; combine. Stir the sauce so the corn starch is mixed; add to the wok and stir together with the meat and broccoli. Let it come to a boil and turn off the heat. The sauce will thicken as it stands for another minutes.
Serve onto bed of rice
