Suggest a better description1. Heat Blackberries Sugar and Lemon juice in a sauce pan on medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes pressing down on berries to extract as much juice as you can (or use a potato ricer to mash ).
2. Strain juice into bowl to remove skins and seeds
3. Let cool in refrigerator until about room temperature
4. Beat Butter Shortening and Juice starting on low and slowly moving up to high until well mixed about 2 minutes.
5. Mix in Powdered sugar and Meringue powder and mix on low and slowly moving up the speed once again to high for about another 2 minutes.
6. Spread on cakes
