Grandma Johnson Scones
1) Mix in a small bowl sour cream and baking soda and set aside
2) In a large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tartar, salt
3)Stir in the sour cream and baking soda, add 1 egg and mix until just moistened
4)Mix in the raisins
5) Turn the dough on a lightly floured surface and knead briefly
6) Roll or Pat dough into 3/4 inch thick round and cut into 12 wedges.
7) Place the wedges 2" apart on greased baking sheet
8) Bake at 350* for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
