Sift the flour and salt together. Set aside.
Have the butter and cream cheese at room temp. Cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugar together. (put sugar in a little at a time). Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour and salt mixture gradually, continuing to beat well. Add vanilla. Fold in butterscotch morsels. Spray a bunt pan with Baker's Joy cooking spray. (or any kind with oil and flour in it). Put batter in pan and cook on 325 for 20 minutes. Turn the oven down to 300 and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Cool in pan 30 minutes. Then invert onto cooling rack.
