Best oat cakes ever!
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together sugars, flour, salt & soda. Add oats & mix well. Add butter & shortening & mix until just absorbed. Add water &mix until absorbed - about 1 minute; do not over mix. Roll dough on floured surface to about 1/4 to 1/2". Place on greased parchment lined baking sheet. Bake until lightly browner. Let cool.
