Have cheese and butter at room temperature. Cream butter and cheese well. Add salt, pepper and flour (You may need to add1/2 cup more flour to make dough of proper consistency to handle easily)
Use star shape in cookie press.
Heat oven to 425 degrees F
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet
Bake 8-10 minutes
Cut into desired lengths as soon as you take them from oven.
Watch carefully because they burn easily. Do not brown.
Be sure to use extra sharp cheddar cheese
