2. Lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
3. Arrange asparagus on baking sheet. Set aside.
4. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
5. Drizzle oil mixture over asparagus and toss to coat evenly.
6. Bake for 10-15 minutes until vibrant and just beginning to get tender.
7. Remove from oven and top with cheese. Return to oven and broil until cheese melts and becomes golden (4-5 minutes).
8. Adjust salt and pepper, if needed. Serve immediately.
