Great for gatherings with friends and family! Whenever I've made it for family gatherings around Christmas it always goes quickly!
1. Put the cherry pie mix and crushed pineapple in the bottom of a 9x12 inch pan.
2. Sprinkle 1 lot of white cake mix over the top of the fruit mixture.
3. Melt ? cup butter plus 1 tablespoon, add 2 tsp. water. Sprinkle this over top of the cake mixture.
4. Bake at 325 F for 30-40 minutes.
5. Serve with whipped cream.
