Cut the chicken breasts into bite size pieces.
Sift the flour, salt, paprika and pepper together.
Coat the chicken pieces in the flour mixture.
Warm a small amount of butter in a frying pan. Brown the coated meat in the frying pan, adding butter as needed. This should take about 10 minutes. Put this into a 3 qt casserole.
Combine the chicken broth, mushrooms, onion and garlic. Heat this to boiling and pour over the chicken. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
While this is happening, pre-cook the noodles for about 5 minutes.
After the original 30 minute baking time, add the noodles in the casserole and bake covered for an additional 30 minutes.
When complete, remove from the oven and stir in the sour cream till well mixed. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve.
Be sure to pre-cook the noodles!!!
