Chili with or without beans
Brown hamburger and onion. Mix chili powder, cumin, salt, and beer and let set while cooking meat and onions. Drain meat if necessary and add spice mixture and green chilies, stirring thoroughly. Stir in tomato paste and beans, mixing thoroughly. Gradually add tomato juice. Let simmer for 1 hour (or more).
Instead of tomato juice you can use tomato sauce and water to taste.
